If you are using PagerDuty as your incident management platform, follow these steps to have Cased take a look at them:

  1. 1.
    Go to your PagerDuty dashboard
  2. 2.
On the top menu, go to "Integrations":
  1. 3.
    Select “Generic Webhooks (v3)”
  2. 4.
    Click on “New webhook”
  1. 5.
Fill the form with the following guidelines:
    • Cased will provide the custom URL for you to use.
    • The Scope should be set to "Service". Pick the most appropriate Service from the dropdown list
    • Select only the "incident.triggered" event.
  2. 6.
    Add the webhook.
  3. 7.
PagerDuty will display the Signature Key. Make sure to copy it and send it to the Cased team.
The Signature Key will be displayed only once. Make sure to copy it.
  1. 8.
Let Cased know which is the Slack channel you prefer to use for notifications.
  2. 9.
You can now try to send a Test Event from the webhook page in PagerDuty. You should see a message from Cased in your chosen channel.

Once Cased receives the Signature Key, you are all set! Each time an incident gets triggered in PagerDuty it will be processed by Cased and you will be informed in the given channel:
Example: Cased processing an incident from PagerDuty that was produced in Sentry.
